Luke Zeller

Luke Zeller is a former professional basketball player and the current President of DistinXion. DistinXion is a non-profit organization founded by the Zeller family as a way to provide elite basketball and cheerleading training, while also teaching character and building family relationships.  Zeller has lead over 4,000 athletes and their families in the summer camps and training, and 50+ college interns through the DistinXion Internship Program. The organization focuses on the development of athletes and its interns through athletic skills training, character training, leadership training and opportunities, and personal and professional development for its interns. Luke is also a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, leading groups and organizations to further understand and develop their strengths. 
 

Luke is high school graduate of Washington High School and is the oldest of three basketball-playing brothers that were all named Indiana Mr. Basketball (Luke: 2005, Tyler: 2008, Cody: 2011).  In high school Luke was a McDonald's All-American, All-American Scholar, and the recipient of the 2005 IHSAA Trester Award for mental attitude.  He was a four-time all-state, all-sectional and all-conference selection.  He was the only player in Washington High School history to be selected all-conference four times, three-time team captain and two-time MVP. Luke reached legendary status in Indiana basketball lore after hitting the game-winning shot from mid-court as time expired in overtime to lead his Washington team to Class 3A state crown. 

After high school Luke attended the University of Notre Dame where he played basketball and graduated from the Mendoza College of Business in 2009 with a degree in management entrepreneurship.  College Awards/Honors include: BIG EAST Academic All-Star Team (2008-09, 2007-08, 2006-07 and 2005-06), Notre Dame’s Most Improved Player Award (2008), Notre Dame’s Club of St. Joseph Valley Rockne Student-Athlete Award (2007).
After college graduation, Zeller played professional basketball for five years, taking him to Japan, Lithuania, the NBA-Dleague, and the NBA for the Phoenix Suns.
